Fifteen summers in France, and then we took the plunge

We are Corine and Coen. For fifteen years we have travelled to France every summer, and our love of French food, culture and wine grew with every visit.

For a long time we deliberately did not want a house abroad — we preferred somewhere new each year. But life in the Netherlands began to feel more and more rushed, while France drew us in with its slower pace, its sunshine and its welcoming people. Our search began in the Auvergne and the Dordogne, but the climate there did not suit us. In the end we found our way to the Hérault, in Occitanie: we explored different places and different seasons, until we came across this Domaine and felt instantly at home.

What we always valued most in a holiday house was the feeling of having nothing at all to think about. That is exactly what we want to give our guests: a place that is entirely yours for as long as you are here, where the pool, the terraces and the garden belong to you alone. We make sure everything is ready for you: the beds are made, the towels are out and a hamper of local produce is waiting. After that we keep our distance — though we are only ever a message or a phone call away, should you need anything or want a good tip.
